Does fat mean short

Never riden the pocket rocket or any powder ski really but i was wondering does the extra width allow you to go shorter?? ie; i normally ride 185 candides but i am interested in the Pocket Rocket 175cm or 185cm??

go 185 FOR SURE. 175 would be rediculously short on you if you normally ride 185s.

fat skis are sooooo much fun. I had the candides and changed to the scratches, they are absolutley amazing. you float so well there so much fun.

why did someone start talking about candides? I hate it when someone asks a specific question about a certain ski, and then some retard clutters up the board telling some useless piece of information that has nothing to do with the question.

so i ask buddy who mentioned the candides....what the fuck do the length of the candides have to do with whether or not this guy should get 175 or 185 pocket rockets?
