I was talking to a guy today and I asked him if he was getting new skis but he said he couldn't afford them but was looking at buying $400 (Canadian) snowboard pants. Then I told him about some Line deals from D-Structure and here's what he's told me from experience.
Skogens:
Really hard to turn with and blow in powder.
Mothersips:
Incredibly floppy. As in, lots of chatter and when you stop you can see the rest of the ski catch up with you.
Is he full of shit or are these some common problems? They are the 2001-2002 models BTW and he rides the 2000-2001 Blue 1080s (181?) so he's probably comparing the skis to his 10's.
