Misty 720 - any tips?

Probably a bit of a weak request considering everyone here seems to be amazing....but.....The misty 720 is my favourite trick but I have not had the brass monkeys to try it yet. Any suggestion about how to learn it (rotations etc)and what are the key stages in the jump (e.g. it seems like the final little bit of rotation when you come around to an upright position is crucial...or?) I can try all this on a trampoline first so any tips would be much appreciated?

definately try on a trampoline first. But it isn't that hard. I would try the misty 5 first, That was the first one I learned. Its a little easier without the extra 180 of course. Its a simple motion of throughing your hand of choice to the opposite hip of choice. assuming you spin to the left you would take your right hand and through your hand and head to your left hip. Make sure to follow all the eay through until you see back uphill. Simply land switch. I learn on a trampoline and water ramp first. But I diod land it first try on snow with a little under rotation. Remember the more air the better you will land. Strap on a set, get your friends to amp you up first.

Make sure you dont huck it. What I mean is practice it to the point where you know where you are in the air pretty much at all times, and can slow down/speed up your rotation a little bit.

think of it like spinning. you want to wind up and throw just like your spinning. at the same time you throw your spin you throw your your front. so its basically all one motion. its just to things made into one. throw it right at the lip.
