Nobodys Favorite, (www.nobodysfavorite.com) is a great local band from my hometown. like face2face, but the diesel version. you fucking moron!!!! i am perfect in that picture, yes i could have my legs a lil forward, but they are fine. how can you tell if my toes are out? they are not in the picture, i have to kick my horse to get the stride in, and so he lands on the right lead. my position it perfect, my back is arched and i am close to the saddle, not jumping up my horses neck, and i am relising over the jump, so that he can jump, and not fall on his face. my legs are strong, my heels are just down you moron! and i am the only person who rides him, cause i am the only one who can control him.
ya my horse has areally pretty jump, but there are no good pictures of him with like his ears forward, which sucks. but he is a very pretty 17 hand thourobreed (sp?). he has great lines...

um actually, i have to kick my horse to get the stride, because i do not use spurs cause if i do he bucks. so i kick him to get the stride, and i kick him so that he jumps well, so that he doesn't refuse. you bring your arms forward, so that after you jump you don't slam on his back and so you can get the lead change. what i meant by my ass off the saddle kinda thing was, you have to close your hip angle. like keep your 'crotch' neer the palm of the saddle. so your not jumping up his neck. my legs are not weak at all, it is just how i jump, and you brought your legs back the same exact way... Back to topic, rather then bickering about a few newbies. Punk music now isn't better or worse then old-school. It's more of an evolution, not a decline or anything. Either you like the newer sound more personally? Or you like the older simpler punk more.

For example, there are plenty of bands out now, (i'll stray away from The get Up Kids due to personal distaste towards them). Just look at Anti-Flag, Bouncing Souls, Leftover Crack, INDK (threw out a sick album but recently broke up as well) Plus theres the street scene putting out The Unseen who have good things. But there will always be the love for the Sex Pistols and The Ramones, the Clash, the list could go on and on.

the other day on the radio (pittsburgh radio station the x) i heard nofx whats up with that i thought you didnt want to be played on commercial radio?

If you’re wondering why you’re hearing NOFX on the radio lately, you’re not alone. We have always seemed to get played on the radio a bit. Even when we told them to fuck off on the Heavy Petting Zoo album, they still played us. It’s not that it really bothers me that we get played on the radio once in a while, it’s that I hate commercial radio. It totally sucks. But apparently they like our new album enough to play it. How they got our new album? Well, it looks like we kinda blew it. We have a song on our new album called, Dinosaurs will Die. It’s about the slow, painful, and highly anticipated death of the major music industry. We thought it would be cool if radio played a song that was about its own destruction. Seemed like a good idea at the time. What happened was that a few stations played Dinosaurs, but the majority of stations picked a different song to play. And they’re playing it a lot. So now it seems that we made a bad decision. Oh well. Our policy of hatred and non cooperation towards mainstream press and commercial radio still stands, but I guess if some of those stations wanna play a little NOFX instead of a lot of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, thank god. But why does there have to be an instead? Why can’t commercial radio play all kinds of shit? Why the same song 10 times a day? It’s not that radio inherently sucks, it’s that all the pay-offs, and ass sucking, and over playing of the same songs sucks. There was a commercial radio station in Hawaii called Radio Free Hawaii. It ruled. They played everything from Frank Sinatra to Nirvana to Operation Ivy. They placed ballot boxes all over the island so you could vote on what you wanted to hear, and they played it all. It was awesome. Then one day the other evil station on the island bought them out and shut them down. Now there’s nothing but crap on the airwaves. My advice to all of you:……DON’T LISTEN. Turn off the fuckin thing. Put on a cd or a record, or better yet listen to Fat Free Radio. ….All independent punk all the time. See ya. FAT MIKE

So, why are there ads for Pump Up the Valuum in both SPIN and ROLLING STONE? In my humble opinion those are both very mainstream forms of media. It seems hypocritical to me. By advertising in these mags, we are trying to let our fans know that we have a new album out. We are using them for our benefit. By doing interviews and photo shoots, we are the ones who get used so they can sell more issues. We're not helping them, we're using them.
