Here is a nice edit of Maks Gorham spinning some laps at Breck with the 4Reel media crew.
I've been out skiing Breck and Keystone as much as possible, getting a feel for this whole skiing thing again.
First off, stoked to write my first entry with RMU, and I hope for many more! I'll start off with Friday night, the 7th. It hadn't really hit me yet that I needed to pack a bag to go skiing. Back home in Michigan, skiing starts in late November, or early December...If we are lucky. So, to be honest, I was a little shocked. After I packed up, which was a mess because it had been so long, I decided to try to fall asleep, but that took hours.
RMU welcomes Spencer Harkins to our Grassroots team! Look out for some big things from this kid this year. Check out his 2010/2011 season edit "Fame"

Went to Crested Butte this weekend yearning to ski a run in competitionI'd only seen Jesse Hall complete successfully. It's a gnarly 10 foot jumpturn into a 7x10 pocket with exposure and a terrible takeoff called"Robbin's jump".
Checking in from Durango! The winter went pretty well down here and I'mbotching my way through another week of school in anticipation of theCrested Butte Telemark Extremes this weekend!
Mike Reed's Mid Season Edit!
Earlier this season Rocky Mountain Underground and Frist Drop teamed up for the "For F*%k Sakes Sponsor Me" contest, looking for a worthy rider to represent their brands. The first round started out with 63 entries from all around the world. These were pared down to 15 by your votes, and 13 resubmitted edits to the final round. After watching all the banger videos multiple times to really see who is doing what, the RMU and First Drop team made their final decisions. We are pround to announce the winners here!
p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Helvetica}I haven't really skied in about 6 six weeks due to my ankle injury that happened at Vail in the middle of December. I took two runs at Breck about 2 1/2 weeks ago to see how it felt on the mountain.
Cole Pates January Edit and Photos!
I'm sitting here on a Saturday night, sipping a Coors, and thinking about the week we had here in Summit County. The whole county got pounded with three storms over a four day period that left us with four and a half feet of new snow. For Colorado, that's pretty impressive, and almost everyone took advantage of it. On Tuesday morning, Breck reported a whopping 26 inches of new snow, and the entire county showed up there to shred it. By about 11am, I'd had enough of the 15 minute wait lines and headed to Arapahoe Basin to ski their reported 12 inches (more like 18) with about 30 other people on the entire mountain. Needless to say that was amazing.
